Thank you to the PICU faculty for clarifying that the PRISM (Pediatric RISk of Mortality) scoring system is used for calculation of mortality on an institutional level, not individual-patient level. However, below is link for you to calculate the score and determine the mortality for the patient discussed in the PICU-ED conference on 9/27/12 who was the victim of a drowning event.
